Emily VanCamp is Captain America female lead!
Emily VanCamp is a beautiful Canadian television actress, best known as Emily Thorne/Amanda Clarke in the ABC drama series Revenge where she was nominated for Teen Choice Awards for Favorite TV Actress: Drama. She was chosen to be the leading lady of Captain America in the movie Captain America: Winter Soldier. She joins Chris Evans in a sequel that does not have a firm start date, but will be released April 4, 2014. The film is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo.
VanCamp was born in Port Perry, Ontario on May 12, 1986 and moved to Montreal when she was 12 after being accepted at the École supérieure de ballet du Québec.
Her acting career started when she was 13 in Nickelodeon's series Are You Afraid of the Dark? Her role as Amy Abbott in a television series Everwood has earned her two nominations: Teen Choice Awards for Choice TV Actress: Drama (2003–05) and Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Series — Supporting Young Actress (2004). She was also nominated for Best Actress in the San Diego Film Festival where she portrays as Emily Harris in the the film Norman.
