She is Sunshine, my Aspin dog. Here in the Philippines, we used to call our local breed dogs Aspin or "Asong Pinoy".
Sunshine used to be a hyper dog. She loves to play around and teases her sister dog Nikki and other dogmates in my home. I have with me 3 female Aspins (including Sunshine), 1 male Aspin, 1 male Pitbull Terrier, 1 female Labrador Retriever, 1 female mixed Shih Tzu and Dachshund and 1 female mixed Shih Tzu and Maltese.
What I love with Sunshine is she barks too loud when she sees cats, rats, dogs or humans. She's just a noisy kind of a pet though she doesn't bite. She loves to let everyone know that she's guarding us all 24/7.
She used to sleep at the back part of my property, the area is large enough for her to run and play. Though I have lots of fighting cocks in the backyard, she doesn't mind nipping or biting them because she knows that it would only hurt her when the cocks fight back at her.
She's only 8-months old when she passed away due to anemia. She was infected with ticks though I tried to save her but it was already too late. Sunshine died in my arms when I visited her at her sleeping area before I reported for work. It was so heart-breaking to see such a lively and loyal house pet to die.
